What a solar tracker actuator does
A solar tracker tilts or rotates the panel table through the day. In many tracker designs a linear actuator does that work: it extends and retracts to push the table to the required angle. It moves under load every day and works outdoors, so its load rating, sealing and motor type matter.

Which actuator is used in your solar tracker?
Our tracker solutions use Dreamfusion BLDC linear actuators, motors and controllers from our own range. The standard actuators are the DF-LA-SL650 (635 mm stroke) and DF-LA-SL250 (250 mm stroke), both 24 V, 7000 N dynamic load and IP65.
Can I buy the solar tracker actuator without the tracker?
Yes. Our 7000 N IP65 BLDC linear actuators are available for your own tracker design. Stroke, end fittings, cable and controller interface can be customised for OEM projects.
