Embedded Software Engineer

1. Software Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for various microcontrollers and processors.

• Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in C/C++, Python, or other relevant languages.

2. Firmware Development:

• Develop firmware for embedded systems, including device drivers and hardware abstraction layers.

• Implement communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.

3. System Integration:

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate firmware with hardware components.

• Perform system-level debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

4. Testing and Validation:

• Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and system testing.

• Conduct debugging and performance optimization using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Create technical documentation such as software design specifications, user manuals, and test reports.

• Maintain version control using tools like Git or SVN.

6. Product Development Support:

• Participate in product lifecycle stages, including concept development, prototyping, and production support.

• Ensure software compliance with industry standards and certification requirements.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Research and adopt emerging technologies to improve product performance and development efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system optimization and feature enhancements.

8. Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as ISO, IEC, or specific safety certifications (e.g., ISO 26262, MISRA).

• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for embedded software development.
